Job Summary
Oversee field operations and projects to ensure efficiency, reliability, safety, and cost-effectiveness while maintaining strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. Coordinate manpower and equipment to optimize resource allocation and serve as the main point of contact for Sudbury Industrial Cleaning support services. Provide leadership and strategic direction to align employees with growth goals, build customer relationships, and resolve concerns proactively. Maintain 24/7 on-call availability for emergencies and manage rotating shifts ranging from 8 to 13 hours across days and nights.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years' in a leadership role
- 10+ years' experience in industrial services/maintenance in the mining industry
- 3-5 years operating a high pressure pumps and tooling
- Valid Class G driver's license
- Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- BSO or Common Safety Orientation certification
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong organization, prioritization, and problem solving skills with a high attention to detail
- You are safety focused when it comes to people and equipment
- Enjoy working outdoors even in harsh weather conditions
- You have a natural ability to lead crews where you can share a laugh, do the challenging work and get the job done safely
- Shift work will be required, 8-13 hour rotating shifts, days and nights will be required
- Provide regular updates to direct reports and be on call 24/7 for emergencies
Desired Qualifications
- Class AZ or DZ driver's license
- Having First Aid, H2S Alive, Ground Disturbance, Fall Protection and Confined Space certification
