Job Summary
Supervisor, HCS Specialty Recovery leads and mentors a medical billing/revenue recovery team, drives daily recovery production to meet goals and SLAs, collaborates with Providers and Networks, develops and implements training materials, coaches staff, supports audits and concept development, and helps optimize recovery procedures and tools while ensuring staffing aligned with business needs. Must have strong Medicare knowledge, medical terminology, billing/coding proficiency, and excellent communication to coordinate with management and cross-functional partners. Works full-time, on-site or remotely as needed to meet business requirements, and participates in leadership-driven process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of Revenue cycle or Recovery experience
- 3+ years in a Healthcare claims or revenue cycle management environment
- 2+ years supervisory experience in fast paced production or call center environment
- Some college or training in medical terminology, billing, coding, or medical billing/Coding certificate
- Extensive experience with provider outreach and communication
