Job Summary
Ground Operations Supervisor leading day-to-day with Warehouse Associates and Leads to develop staff, coach on core warehouse skills, and ensure operational excellence. Responsible for scheduling, cross-functional communication, staff development, and ensuring sort and launch packages are processed safely and efficiently while achieving KPIs and reporting accuracy. Requires adaptability in a fast-paced, physically demanding warehouse environment and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in management in logistics, operations, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficient in technology platforms and tools relevant to logistics operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional experiences to team members and driver partners.
- Willingness to complete a comprehensive background check
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, holidays, and weekends, as required by operational needs.
- Is physically able to work in a warehouse that includes the following conditions: Standing for the duration of the shift. Moving boxes up and down including frequent bending. May need to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. May work in hot or cold temperatures. May work in an environment with loud noise and fumes.
