Job Summary
Oversees the recording of electric asset equipment in an area or region, including the location and attributes; manages and prioritizes local staff workload, providing day-to-day direction to staff; ensures asset mapping data accuracy to support multiple business applications; coordinates with field maintenance/construction crews and other departments; ensures timely data entry and compliance with quality standards; collaborates with internal and external stakeholders (State Franchise Tax Board, City/County governments, CPUC) to coordinate activities; develops department goals with the manager; may lead change-management and quality assurance initiatives; monitors productivity and budgets; primarily supervises bargaining unit mapping technicians; maintains relations with the ESC Union and participates in quarterly meetings; requires strong GIS, leadership, communication, and analytical skills; travel to multiple offices in the area or region.
Required Qualifications
- High school or GED
- 5 years of related experience in one or more of the following areas: service planning, construction, mapping, and/or a leadership type role.
