Job Summary
Fund Accounting Supervisor to oversee the operations and accounting of an existing private equity fund, lead a small staff of accountants, and liaise with clients. Responsibilities include supervising fund setup deliverables (capital calls, distributions, financial statements, waterfalls, IRRs), reviewing financial reports and capital events, applying knowledge of LPAs and governing documents, and ensuring accuracy and adherence to GAAP/IFRS. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance, 4+ years of PE fund accounting experience, excellent communication, and strong analytical skills. Preferred CPA and deep knowledge of ASC 946, fund structures, and investor reporting. Role is hybrid in New York, NY, with two days in-office and three days remote; US work authorization required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics and/or Finance
- 4+ years of relevant Private Equity Fund/Investment Company Accounting & Reporting experience
- CPA (preferred)
- Strong MS Excel (pivots), Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
