Supervisor, Fulfillment Center - Materials Management - Split Shift

Job Summary
Approve timecards, schedule staff, and maintain stocking levels while mentoring direct reports. Implement logistics and inventory management practices, including transportation options, kitting strategy, and work order management. Support metric goals, conduct safety walkthroughs, and distribute campaign workload to meet on-time kitting targets. Interface with Shipping, Receiving, Quality Control, and other departments to resolve material receipt and distribution issues. Own area audits, ensure operational compliance, and maintain a clean workspace through continuous design improvements. Foster an environment where change is embraced and ideas are vetted for implementation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of professional experience in materials management, supply chain, or production/manufacturing
- 6+ years of professional experience in materials management, supply chain, or production/manufacturing

- This position is based in Hawthorne, CA and requires being onsite - remote work not considered
- Must be able to work split shift hours ( Mon-Fri) including extended hours and/or weekends as needed
- U.S. citizen or national
- U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder)
- Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157
- Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158
- Eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
Desired Qualifications
- APICS certification – CPIM or CSCP
- Lean/6-Sigma experience (Green/Black Belt certifications)
- Excellent communication and team-building skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced /cross-functional environment
- Experience within an aerospace, aviation, automotive manufacturing environment
- Hazmat Certified
- Working knowledge of transport guidelines as defined by 49CFR / IATA
- Computer Skills – Microsoft Office applications
