Job Summary

Supervisor, Front Desk: Oversee hotel front office operations to ensure guest satisfaction and adherence to policies. Manage scheduling, supervise front desk staff, coordinate with housekeeping and marketing to ensure smooth check-in/check-out, handle guest issues with courtesy and professionalism, balance daily financial activities, and participate in personnel actions such as interviews, training, and performance evaluations. Requires leadership, strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and knowledge of front desk operations, office software, LMS, and Kronos. Must have a high school diploma or GED (associate degree preferred) and at least one year of supervisory experience in hospitality.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associate's degree from an accredited institution or related field is preferred
  • One year of supervisory experience in the hospitality industry is required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate others effectively
  • Documented teamwork behaviors and attitudes
  • Self-starter; must work without close supervision with knowledge in all areas of guest service
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Windows-based office software (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of LMS and Kronos
  • Knowledge of Harrah's employment policies
