Job Summary
Supervisor, Fraud Operations role accountable for engaging, developing and supporting the Fraud Operations team and overseeing daily departmental activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, coaching standards, and achieving performance targets. Responsibilities include selecting and developing staff, fostering a high-performance culture, scheduling and directing fraud prevention specialists and investigators, communicating with internal/external customers, drafting risk reports for executive leadership, identifying performance opportunities and implementing strategic actions, analyzing workflow and staffing needs, establishing policies to mitigate risk, supporting performance management processes, ensuring compliance and security controls, reviewing vendor reporting, and driving process improvements. Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 5+ years in supervisory capacity, strong coaching and training skills, excellent communication and analytical abilities, proficiency with Word/Excel/PowerPoint, and alignment with ESL values. Preferred: 7+ years supervisory experience and 5+ years fraud/risk management in financial institutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of directly related experience required
- minimum of 5 years in a supervisory and/or leadership capacity
- extensive experience in resolving conflict, conducting investigations/interviews while maintaining composure
- excellent experience in coaching, training and developing employee, customer and vendor relationships
- excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- excellent analytical/problem solving skills
- proficient in PC applications – Word, Excel and Power Point
- ability to calmly and efficiently work in a fast paced environment using data at hand to problem solve
