Job Summary
Supervise daily press brake and forming operations, assigning work, monitoring workflow, and adjusting priorities to meet production schedules and on-time delivery goals. Lead and coach operators, conduct training on equipment and safety standards, and perform performance evaluations while enforcing all safety policies and OSHA compliance. Oversee CNC press brake setups, interpret blueprints and geometric tolerances, and troubleshoot forming issues to ensure parts meet customer specifications and reduce scrap. Identify productivity initiatives, optimize machine utilization, and track key performance indicators including throughput rates and safety incident rates.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in precision sheet metal forming/press brake operations
- 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of press brake setup, tooling, and forming techniques
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
- Experience with CNC programming and machine controls
- Standing, walking, and occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Mechanical aptitude and technical expertise
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
