Supervisor, Forestry Operations

Plan, organize, and supervise forestry operations for the Kapuskasing, Opasatika, and Hearst Divisions to supply mills while maintaining cost-effectiveness. Promote a safe workplace, lead a motivated operations team, and coach employees to ensure maximum performance. Negotiate harvesting and equipment contracts, coordinate activities to maintain production targets, and prepare work schedules. Assist in budget preparation, authorize expenditures, and analyze financial reports. Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and municipal laws, manage union relations, and report deviations from planned activities. Report to the Superintendent, Forestry Operations. Salary range: $73,699 – $109,962 annually.
