Supervisor, Forestry Operations

Plan, organize, and supervise forestry operations for the Kapuskasing, Opasatika, and Hearst Divisions to supply mills while maintaining cost-effectiveness. Promote a safe workplace by supporting the Health & Safety Program and ensuring compliance with all federal, provincial, and municipal laws. Lead a motivated operations team, coach employees for maximum performance, and recommend training requirements. Assist in negotiating harvesting and equipment contracts, manage collective agreements, and prepare work schedules to meet production targets. Coordinate activities to maintain wood supply quality for the Kapuskasing and Hearst Sawmills, analyze financial reports, and report deviations from planned activities. Report to the Superintendent, Forestry Operations.
