Supervisor Forest Nursery Operations

Supervise nursery staff and coordinate daily operations for the forestry nursery, in collaboration with the Nursery Manager; oversee greenhouse duties for seedling growth, operate and maintain nursery equipment (delivery trucks, farm tractors, sprayers, irrigation pumps), and manage winter/snow removal for site access. Ensure safety and efficiency of greenhouse systems, climate control, and facilities; participate in maintenance and improvement projects (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, welding) and oversee procurement and vendor management for nursery supplies. Support tree seedling growth with greenhouse growers and irrigation staff; monitor and maintain infrastructure, boilers, climate control, and environmental conditions. Manage inventory, ensure resources are available, and coordinate with Fleet Services as directed; oversee year-round site operations including heavy equipment operation for snow removal and ensuring access to the helipad for EHS air ambulance landings.
