Supervisor - Foreclosure (On-site)

Job Summary

Oversee a team of 8+ Foreclosure Specialists and Document Verification Specialists to timely and accurately manage a pipeline of loans through the foreclosure process. Develop and maintain up-to-date policies and procedures, identify areas for process improvement, and implement new processes as necessary. Maintain a working knowledge of the Foreclosure process including investor, insurer, client, state, and jurisdictional requirements while tracking and managing ongoing deadlines and SLAs relative to foreclosure timelines and key department metrics. Train new hires on all systems of record, investor guidelines, and industry standards; coach the team on annual reviews. Act as the Foreclosure point of contact for other departments within the Company as well as attorney firms on escalated issues. Track and analyze departmental data and report on the activities of the team. Make business decisions based on likelihood of recovery versus liability risks.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, paralegal certificate or equivalent work experience
  • 6+ years of foreclosure or mortgage service-related experience
  • 1-2 years of management experience preferred
  • Must have strong analytical skills

  • Must be able to work on a team or independently with minimal supervision

  • Working on-site at assigned office location
  • Regular and punctual attendance adhering to schedule established by leadership
  • Flexibility to work occasional adjusted work schedules, overtime, and evening and/or weekend hours to meet deadlines or as business needs demand
  • Working in a cubicle hub, maintaining focus on phone calls in a noisy environment within earshot of multiple other conversations
  • Sedentary work in a stationary position at a cubicle for prolonged periods of time
  • Constant repetitive motions required for operating a computer, such as typing and managing phone calls
  • Constantly communicating effectively verbally in English, including accurately exchanging information with others following identification of correct procedures
  • All employees are required to have smart phones that meet Company security standards with the ability to install apps such as Microsoft Authenticator

Desired Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of management experience preferred
