Job Summary
Supervise a team of financial analysts responsible for detailed financial forecasting, accruals, variance analysis, and in-service planning for the Transmission portfolio. Lead monthly financial review and close-out discussions with Project Managers to ensure forecasts are accurately entered into systems and submitted to Corporate Finance. Manage workload, professional development, and coaching while ensuring the team meets capital targets and identifies forecast risks. Oversee budget tracking against purchase orders and contracts, support storm activities as needed, and provide periodic training on forecasting processes and tools such as SAP, PowerPlan, and CREWS. Communicate monthly and annual forecast updates, risks, and drivers to leadership to support informed decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Prior leadership, supervisory, team lead, or project lead experience
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate moderately complex financial, project, and forecasting issues and develop alternatives and recommendations
- Excellent interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access
- Ability to lead work independently, manage competing priorities, meet established deadlines, and ensure the team delivers quality, accurate work
- Support of storm activities may be required
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related discipline
- Advanced degree
- Prior leadership, supervisory, team lead, or project lead experience
- Working knowledge of FE-specific systems such as SAP, PowerPlan, Unifier/Ecosys, CREWS, OPPM, PlannerDash, and related forecasting/reporting tools
