Job Summary
Supervise instructors, students, and parents across multiple school sites within the Saugus School District while managing daily schedules and event logistics. Provide feedback to teachers and evaluate instructional practices, ensuring program delivery aligns with effective instructional standards. Commit to the full school year, including evening and weekend training sessions, while transporting up to 30 lbs of equipment between locations. This seasonal role supports Black Rocket's mission to ignite creativity and technology skills in youth through hands-on programs in robotics, app design, and digital arts.
Required Qualifications
- Comfortable traveling throughout the Saugus School District, including multiple school sites in a day/ week
- Experience managing adults, preferably in an education setting
- Experience managing schedules or planning events
- K-12 school experience ideal
- Comfortable with a range of technology
- Reliable transportation to multiple sites within your region throughout the day and ability to transfer up to 30 lbs of equipment
- Strong problem solving skills
- Knowledge of effective instructional practices
- Comfortable giving feedback to and evaluating teachers
- Able to commit to the whole school year
- Available to start training immediately
Desired Qualifications
- completed or are working towards their supervisor or principal certification
- background as a school supervisor, school administrator, teacher leader, or similar
- Classroom experience
