Job Summary
Supervisor, Food Services role at Saint Louis River Camp Cafe focused on assisting managers with daily operations, ensuring opening/closing procedures are followed, supervising staff to maintain cash-handling policies, relieving staff for breaks, delivering World Class Service to customers, addressing customer issues, enforcing sanitary practices for food handling and cleanliness, assisting with staff training and performance, and supporting departmental goals. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour with potential increases based on availability and experience. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred) and supervisory experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment; flexible hours with mostly daytime shifts and some evenings, weekends, and holidays; proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; Food Service Sanitation Certificate a plus; criminal background check required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required with some college preferred
- Supervisory experience in a fast paced, large volume atmosphere preferred
- Must have flexible hours
- Work schedule varies, but is mostly days with some evening events
- Must be available weekends and holidays
- Work schedules change according to business demands
- General familiarity of Microsoft Excel and Word required
- Food Service Sanitation Certificate a plus
- All successful candidates for this position will be required to submit to a criminal background check
