Job Summary
Directs and monitors the preparation and distribution of food and nutrition services; directs daily workflow, maintains food safety and sanitation standards, monitors quality of food for patients and cafeterias, resolves customer/patient issues, handles cash transactions and banking, and assists in cafeteria menu and special event planning; requires at least 4 years in food service and management experience with HR-related duties such as hiring, coaching, and performance management; must obtain a Food Protection Manager certification within 60 days of hire; healthcare setting experience preferred.
