Job Summary
Oversee daily food preparation, service, and sanitation for patient care, cafeteria, and catering menus while managing staff, assigning workloads, and maintaining inventory to ensure cost efficiency. Direct storeroom clerks and cooks, implement infection control practices, and maintain communication with patients and staff regarding service levels. Collaborate on menu development and assist with recruiting, hiring, and performance management. Requires two years of foodservice or one year of hospital nutrition experience, an RD or CDM within 24 months, and ServSafe Manager certification. Required Qualifications
- Two (2) years of experience in foodservice or One (1) year of hospital nutrition experience
- Registered Dietician (RD) within 24 months or Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) within 24 months
- SERVSAFE MANAGER (SERVSAFMGR)
- Servsafe General Certification (SERVSAFE GEN) within 60 days
- Arizona Food Handler Permit or Servsafe Certification within 30 days
- Associates Degree or Equivalent experience

- Associates Other or Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic computer skills and leadership experience
