Job Summary
Lead, motivate, and develop team members across front and back of house while overseeing daily operations to ensure excellence in food quality, service, cleanliness, and safety. Take charge of the venue during shifts, making decisions and resolving issues confidently. Coach team members, manage labour and COGS, oversee inventory and waste management, and deliver exceptional guest experiences through effective service recovery. Ensure compliance with food safety and health standards while driving sales through promotions and upselling initiatives. Work afternoon/evening shifts Wednesday to Sunday. Join a new BurgerFuel outlet at Auckland Airport, supporting a global hospitality leader's brand expansion.
Required Qualifications
- Leadership experience in a QSR, fast food, or high-volume hospitality environment
- Experience in burger or similar quick-service operations
- Strong understanding of front and back-of-house operations
- Proven ability to coach, develop and lead high-performing teams
- Experience managing labour, productivity, and operational performance
- Guest-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional service
- Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Food Safety Certificate
- Availability to work afternoon/evening shift, Wednesday to Sunday, non-negotiable
Desired Qualifications
- LCQ and Duty Manager Certificate advantageous
