Job Summary
Maintenance Supervisor responsible for developing, evaluating, implementing and managing maintenance programs to minimize costs and achieve optimum productivity and efficiency for operations; duties include creating preventative maintenance plans, evaluating and improving in-house maintenance and repair programs, coordinating with operations to meet objectives, negotiating contracts with vendors, managing maintenance budgets, ensuring regulatory compliance (OSHA/MSHA), overseeing inventory for parts and supplies, and guiding personnel to uphold safety standards and efficient plant operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 7 years’ experience performing varied responsibilities related to plant production and maintenance, equipment maintenance, detecting and resolving production problems, plant safety
- 5 years in a supervisory role
- Working knowledge of OSHA/MSHA regulations
