Job Summary
Supervisor Financial Counseling leads day-to-day operations of the financial counseling department across care sites, travels to care sites within and across state lines (overnight stays possible), provides coaching and feedback to staff, leads team huddles and performance reviews, and ensures KPI achievement and regulatory compliance. The role collaborates with multiple departments, supports patient coverage and financial health needs, and requires CAC certification within 60 days of hire. Location is Billings, Montana with travel to Miles City and Butte as needed; onsite work at care sites is expected. Bilingual Spanish is preferred; Epic knowledge and HR support functions are relevant. The role emphasizes process improvement, staff development, and a patient-centered care environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two (2) years previous experience in a Lead or Supervisory role
- Certified Application Counselor (CAC) Certification within 60 Days of hire
- Two (2) or more years' supervisory experience with Financial Counseling or equivalent
