Job Summary
Lead field crews on installations, repairs, and maintenance of industrial valve equipment by interpreting blueprints, troubleshooting, and conducting skilled technical work on electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic actuators. Perform site inspections to determine optimal repair sequences, deliver training programs to enhance crew skills, and mentor team members for exceptional results. Accurately complete all documentation, including JSAs and equipment inspections, while adapting to changing priorities and supporting team objectives. Requires overnight travel up to 50% of the time, on-call availability, and overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED
- 4 years of hands-on experience in area of responsibility
- Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing
- Must continuously stand or walk or regularly requires lifting/handling/carrying material or equipment of moderate weight (50 pounds)
- Typically requires overnight travel up to 50% of the time
- Must be able to be on call at times and work overtime when needed
