Job Summary
Oversee and manage the Field Service team, including hiring, training, and scheduling. Serve as the liaison with local unions, employers, and plan participants to explain eligibility, benefits, and plan provisions. Conduct individual and group meetings to assist with benefit applications, retirement options, and eligibility questions. Review and process complex inquiries and applications, preparing benefit appeals, denial letters, and correspondence. Respond to participant inquiries by phone and in writing, providing guidance on benefits and appeal procedures. Prepare management reports and support special projects and process improvements while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. Requires 2+ years in benefits, a bachelor's degree, and ability to travel including overnight stays. Starting salary $6,685-$9,045 per month with comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and 401k benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience in the benefits field
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proven ability to influence others to get work done
- Demonstrates clear, professional written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to travel including overnight stays
