Job Summary
Monitor Workforce Express System (WFX), Stratusync, and iGlass for schedule changes and installation/service tickets. Coordinate with dispatch and functional departments to optimize business efforts, resolve customer escalations, and ensure service quality meets FCC requirements. Hire, train, and evaluate assigned field staff while overseeing installation, maintenance, and preventative tasks across HFC and fiber networks. Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports and maintain company vehicles and equipment per safety guidelines. Work unscheduled days and overtime as operational demands require, driving between sites and adhering to all safety policies and laws.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Demonstrated proficiency in Core Supervisory skillsets
- Valid state driver's license and a good driving record
- Certifications and licenses, as required by state and municipal laws
- Successfully meet (and maintain) additional background check requirements for specialized projects/services
- One year of work experience in a comparable field (e.g. related hands-on trade role)
- Basic Mathematical Skills
- PC and Windows software skills
- Stable work history
- Able to work required shifts and overtime (if necessary)
- Requisite ability to drive motor vehicle
- Adequate ability to distinguish different colors of wire
- Ability to frequently bend, stoop and crawl
- Requisite ability to drive commercial vehicle (DOT physical required)
- Ability to lift and carry 28ft extension ladder
- Ability to lift an 88lb power supply from floor to 42"
- Ability to climb ladders and/or utility poles and work in high places
- Ability to work in small spaces (such as crawl space and attics)
- Ability to work outdoors and in extreme weather conditions and varying topographic, wet and dry locations
- Ability to work in an unstructured environment
- Ability to manage ambiguity and autonomy amongst the team
- Ability to deal effectively with uncertainty and change
Desired Qualifications
- Spanish proficiency desirable in some locations
- High school degree or GED equivalent preferred
- post-high school education a plus
