Job Summary
Lead and supervise a team of 3-5 staff within Landstar's Field Operations Centers, overseeing onboarding and ongoing development of owner-operators, coordinating safety and training initiatives, and partnering with HR. Develop content for Owner-Operator Orientation, monitor operational data in AS400 and Power BI, prepare performance reports for leadership, and coordinate staff meetings and vendor communications for facility maintenance. Requires strong Office/Power BI proficiency, presentation and communication skills, and a proven ability to lead and coach others in a transportation/logistics environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma/GED
- One year of experience in internal customer service, training, coaching, or mentoring individuals in a business environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access), AS400, and Power BI
- Strong presentation development and delivery skills
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical mindset with strong interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and inspire others
