Lead and supervise daily performance of assigned Facilities Engineering staff, assigning preventative, urgent, and corrective repairs to ensure timely completion and quality compliance. Oversee maintenance of buildings, equipment, and off-site facilities by inspecting, calibrating, adjusting, and replacing components as needed. Manage work schedules, review maintenance requests, and coordinate training for personnel while enforcing safety regulations and hospital policies. Monitor completion of tasks, maintain attendance and productivity records, and respond to emergency calls for gas leaks, power outages, HVAC failures, and fire response. Ensure sites remain orderly, tools are returned, and all records comply with state, federal, and Joint Commission regulations. Assume departmental responsibilities during the Engineering Manager's absence and guide staff toward personal and departmental goals.
