Job Summary
EVS Supervisor leads the daily activities of Lead Housekeepers, Housekeepers, and Floor & Project Technicians in Shadyside Hospital's Environmental Services department, ensuring timely discharge cleans, quality inspections, and a clean, safe, welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Provides daily leadership, partners with nursing leadership to identify needs and service opportunities, maintains supplies and equipment, coaches staff through recognition and corrective action, approves PTO and ensures consistent staffing, responds to emergencies, and participates in required training and the Supervisor Development Program. Requires HS Diploma/GED, 3 years relevant experience, 1-year leadership experience, knowledge of chemical use and dilution rates, and basic MS Office skills.

- Knowledge and familiarity with chemical use and dilution rates
- Basic computer knowledge to include familiarity with MS Office
- Floor Care experience preferred
