Supervisor - Engineering (Large Load Batch Studies)

Lead a team developing and coordinating ERCOT Large Load Batch planning studies to identify transmission projects addressing near- and long-term reliability needs. Structure planning studies and sensitivity analyses, including technical and financial evaluations, to determine improvement requirements and evaluate proposed projects. Serve as the recognized technical expert for the department, providing on-the-job training, mentoring, and oversight to engineers and analysts. Collaborate across departments to select and implement system changes, communicate analysis results to stakeholders and management, and drive efficiency improvements in departmental processes. Act as a cross-functional representative offering technical, business, and policy guidance while serving as a quality assurance and best-practices resource. Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholder bodies, the ERCOT Board of Directors, and regulatory agencies.
