Job Summary
Direct, administer, and manage the hospital-wide Employee Health program, serving as a resource to all hospital departments and medical staff regarding Employee Health matters. Coordinate activities and programs involving a wide range of departments while working with adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, including employees, auxiliary personnel, students, and medical staff members. Requires a Bachelor's degree in nursing, four years of clinical experience, and CPR certification, with preferred qualifications including Occupational Health certification and leadership experience. Full-time position with a 7A-3:30PM schedule, no weekends or on-call requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of nursing
- four years of nursing experience
- Demonstrated ability to assume Charge Nurse responsibilities
- clinical expertise
- Certified in Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation [CPR]
Desired Qualifications
- Two years of experience in an Occupational or Public Health Nursing position
- Certification in Occupational Health [COHN or COHNS], or obtain within 18 months of hire
- Emergency Department nursing experience
- Three years previous experience in an Occupational Health leadership position
- One (1) year of experience in a supervisory role
- Proven skills needed to plan, direct, and coordinate activities and programs involving a wide range of departments
