Supervisor, Electrical

Lead, coordinate and supervise a team responsible for facilities electrical construction and maintenance at SpaceX Hawthorne Production Facilities; dedicated to ensuring zero unplanned interruptions in services to employees and customers. Coordinate electrical projects to ensure vendors meet SpaceX, and local standards while delivering promised services, materials, and craftsmanship. Plan and direct electrical construction and maintenance activities of internal technicians as well as all involved subcontractors for each phase of construction. Enforce contract expectations from subcontractors and communication of any discrepancies. Maintain a safe work site by implementing safety requirements, enforcing safe work habits, observing OSHA requirements and any applicable agencies' regulations. Develop and administer an effective and efficient electrical preventative maintenance program. Track facilities service requests with applicable systems and complete requests within established timelines and quality specifications. Oversee team of Facilities technicians, driving overall performance and effectiveness through individual coaching and development. This is not a remote or hybrid position and will require relocation if not already local to the Hawthorne, CA area. Position occasionally requires the ability to work extended hours and weekends when needed. Provide 24/7 on-call support of all critical activities and emergency situations.
