Supervisor, Electrical Engineering - New Berlin, WI

Direct and run all facets of the electrical engineering group, including personnel and equipment. Oversee the design of power and control systems for overhead cranes and hoists, managing electric motor controls, utility circuits, safety circuits, and operator controls. Conduct electrical oversight of projects to ensure compliance with NEC codes and customer specifications while selecting components like circuit breakers, transformers, and PLCs. Lead engineers in designing, testing, and starting up control systems, and prepare single line diagrams, schematics, and panel layouts. Resolve manufacturing problems by working with service technicians and other departments to research and define solutions. Provide technical supervision on a daily basis, review customer specifications during bidding, and approve electrical drawing releases. Manage department staffing, vacations, and workflow to meet project schedules while delivering training programs for employees.
