Job Summary
Supervisor, EC SCM Team 1 overseeing inbound/outbound transportation of auto parts to U.S. manufacturing plants (Hyundai/Kia suppliers). Focus on coordinating container moves, maintaining cost-efficient operations, managing daily ETA/tracking reports, coordinating with up to 10 inland carriers, handling customer inquiries, supporting cargo damage insurance claims, and managing demurrage/detention/chassis charges. Responsible for preparing required documents (e.g., commercial invoices), ensuring policy and regulatory compliance, and maintaining professional, proactive communication with customers. Travel up to 10% and supervision of the EC SCM team to optimize supply chain performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree Required
- 4 - 8 Years of direct experience in Supply Chain Management, Freight Forwarding, Logistics Required
- 1 - 3 years of supervisory experience Required
- General understanding of Supply Chain Management and the logistics industry Required
- Ability to establish business plan and proceed new business developments/projects Required
- Proficient with PC's Required
- Intermediate MS Excel, Power Point, Word and database management Required
- Understanding of the full range of Freight Forwarding services, including movement scheduling, monitor and control services, cost optimization, and various industry specific requirements Required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Korean required due to high volume of communication with customers/vendors in Korea Preferred
