Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day driver operations in Sterling or Culpepper, VA, including supervising drivers, coaching performance, and ensuring safe, compliant transportation operations. Lead route planning to improve fuel efficiency and on-time delivery; monitor DOT compliance and safety standards; collaborate with operations, customer service, and leadership to resolve issues; utilize Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and related platforms; provide training on technology and operational procedures; review driver-related reports and records; drive continuous improvement in service quality and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in transportation operations, fleet management, or logistics required
- Working knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
