Job Summary
Supervise the day-to-day operations of the Diagnostic Imaging department under the Area Director and Area Imaging Manager. Collaborate with the Medical Director of Radiology, staff radiologists, and medical staff to manage department functions. Demonstrate technical and clinical competence across all licensed imaging modalities for infants through geriatric patients. Serve as an administrative and clinical resource for department staff while acting as a customer service representative to patients, families, the public, and caregivers. Participate in quality assurance and organizational improvement activities. Work 10-hour day shifts full-time under general direction.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a program in any imaging modality approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association
- California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certification
- California Fluoroscopy Certificate/Permit
- California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification
- California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification
- California Limited Permit X-Ray Technician
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- 3 years experience in an acute care/hospital imaging department
- 10-hour, Day shifts
