Job Summary
Supervise the day-to-day operations of the Diagnostic Imaging department under the Imaging Manager, collaborating with the Medical Director and staff radiologists. Serve as a technical and clinical resource for department staff while acting as a customer service representative to patients, families, and medical caregivers. Participate in quality assurance and organizational improvement activities. Maintain technical and clinical competence across all age groups served, from infants to geriatrics, and adhere strictly to department standards. Work full-time 8-hour day shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a program in radiologic technology approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association
- California Radiologic Technologist
- California Limited Permit X-Ray Technician
- National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 3 years' experience in an acute care/hospital radiology department
- Day Shifts
