Job Summary
Supervise the day-to-day operations of the Diagnostic Imaging department under general direction from the Area Director and Area Imaging Manager. Provide administrative and clinical support to the Director and Manager, serving as a resource for department staff while maintaining technical and clinical competence across all licensed modalities for infants through the geriatric population. Manage department standards, participate in quality assurance and organizational improvement activities, and act as a customer service representative for patients, families, the public, and medical staff. Work full-time day shifts with 10-hour hours as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a program in any imaging modality approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association
- California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certification
- California Fluoroscopy Certificate/Permit
- California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification
- California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification
- California Limited Permit X-Ray Technician
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- 3 years experience in an acute care/hospital imaging department
- 10-hour, Day shifts
