Job Summary
Under general direction by the Imaging Manager and in collaboration with the Medical Director of Radiology, supervise the day-to-day operations of the diagnostic imaging department. Serve as an administrative and clinical resource for staff while acting as a customer service representative to patients, families, the public, medical staff, and caregivers. Participate in quality assurance and organizational improvement activities. Maintain technical and clinical competence across all age groups served, from infants to geriatric patients.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a program in radiologic technology approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association
- California Radiologic Technologist
- California Limited Permit X-Ray Technician
- National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 3 years' experience in an acute care/hospital radiology department
- Full time
- 8-hour Day Shifts
