Job Summary
Supervisor, Production Operations oversees the daily operations of multiple production lines within a facility, managing resources, approving vacations, timecards, payroll, and performance reviews, and developing direct reports in technical and people-management skills. The role leads process-improvement projects based on reports and feedback, with expertise in GMP/FDA environments, LOTO, quality control, and utilization of Kaizen and OpEx tools (OEE, SPC, SMED, TPM, Poka-Yoke). The position requires 4-8 years of experience (Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent), and a capability to supervise production staff to meet or exceed production schedules while ensuring safety and quality.
Required Qualifications
- 4-8 years of experience in production/manufacturing environments
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred
- LOTO experience
- Understanding of GMPs and FDA regulations and ability to maintain product sterility or seal integrity
- Experience leading people and performing Kaizen/continuous improvement
- Knowledge of OpEx tools and SPC, OEE, 6S, TPM, and related manufacturing excellence frameworks
- Ability to interpret and modify procedures; strong Microsoft Office and data analysis skills
- Experience with process improvement projects and data-driven decision making
