Job Summary
Lead the daily supervision of a multi-site customer-based lab support team, overseeing service offerings such as order/stockroom/dock management, procurement, material handling, chemical tracking, glass wash, media/reagent preparation, and cell culture support operations. Responsibilities include managing a diverse on-site lab team, employee lifecycle processes (hiring, training needs, performance evaluations), delivering contractual scope, tracking business metrics, collaborating with the Program/Regional Manager, and acting as the liaison between the customer and Thermo Fisher Scientific. Develop SOPs, conduct site audits, ensure annual physical inventory, seek opportunities for service expansion, and support safety programs and process improvement initiatives. Requires readiness to complete pre-employment and customer-m mandated screenings; typically works at customer sites with potential exposure to hazardous environments and the need for PPE; compensation includes a salary range of $75,000–$112,500 plus benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 4+ years of experience in managed services in a laboratory setting
- GxP experience as a leader required
- Knowledge of OSHA General Industry requirements is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrates computer proficiency and intermediate skills in Microsoft Office
