Job Summary
Supervisor to oversee in-vivo operations staff, lead and coordinate multi-species technical training, develop and implement training plans and documentation, mentor training personnel, support animal care and study execution, and participate in recruiting and on-the-job training. Role requires strong leadership, training-development skills, familiarity with GLP and biosafety practices, ability to manage schedules and training records, and effective communication. Education: Bachelor’s degree; Experience: 4–6 years in related field; Certification/Licensure: AALAS ALAT/LAT strongly preferred. Shift is Thursday–Monday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.; located at Stilwell, KS with onsite operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in scientific related discipline
- 4-6 years related experience in animal science, biology, chemistry/pharmacy, or similar lab environment
- AALAS certification ALAT/LAT level strongly preferred; or other applicable certification/licensure
