Job Summary
Oversee and work with a team of laborers installing and dismantling pipe, drape, tables, chairs, carpet, displays, signs, and other equipment for trade shows, expos, festivals, and special events. Supervise crew safety, meet strict deadlines, manage transportation and care of equipment, and deliver exceptional customer service to clients and vendors. Read floor plans, material lists, and timelines; organize, lead, and train employees to complete projects within established guidelines. Ensure all safety protocols are followed, comply with company policies, and report timeclock adjustments. May drive loaded vehicles to and from shows. Attend staff meetings as required. Complete forklift certification within 90 days.
Required Qualifications
- Must certify within 90 days in Forklift
- Ability to read and comprehend floorplans, instructions, correspondence and memos
- Presence of time management skills and ability to meet critical deadlines
- Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, managers, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to write correspondence
- Displays ethical conduct
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other software required by Art Craft Display to perform job duties and record time
- Ability to utilize and understand current scheduling methods (electronic or printed)
