Job Summary
The Tailings Pump House Control Room Supervisor oversees the safe and efficient operation of the tailings pump house and distribution system, monitors and adjusts pumps and valves, coordinates dam activities, and supports production targets while ensuring compliance with safety and operating standards. Responsibilities include operating and monitoring control systems, entering operational data and maintaining reporting, coordinating crane operations and field activities, ensuring adherence to MSHA regulations and SOPs, training and mentoring team members, and identifying improvements to optimize performance. Key skills include experience with computerized control systems, proficiency with Microsoft Office, strong English communication, cross-department collaboration, and the ability to support production planning and reliability through preventive maintenance and incident reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Experience operating and monitoring computerized control systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in tailings and water operations, including at least one (1) year in pump house operations.
