Job Summary
Supervisor, Conference Services based in New York on-site five days per week. Oversees daily conference-center operations, trains and supervises the Conference Services team, coordinates meeting logistics, maintains client service standards, and serves as a liaison between internal stakeholders and support teams (food services, facilities management, and AV). Ensures spaces meet firm standards, resolves operational issues, and drives continuous improvement in service delivery. Manages recruitment, onboarding, coaching, performance reviews, and staff development; responsible for staff scheduling and coverage during peak periods and events. Collaborates with Internal Events & Client Events teams and other offices to design and manage high-level events; oversees room scheduling technology and pursues process improvements. Requires knowledge of Accruent EMS Software, Microsoft Office, and experience in corporate or fine dining operations; strong budgeting, auditing of charges, and adherence to firm policies. Travel flexibility and a need for regular in-office presence are noted.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of five years of hospitality experience in a professional services environment
- Minimum of three years of supervisory experience
- Knowledge of Conference Services field and procedures
- Strong knowledge of Accruent EMS Software
- Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to supervise others and manage multiple projects
- Ability to handle confidential matters and maintain discretion
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to organize, plan and manage budgets and expenses
- Flexibility to travel
- In-office regular presence with ability to work evenings and weekends
