Job Summary
Coordinate daily operations, manage staff scheduling, and oversee programming at the Community Wellness Center while maintaining alignment with organizational goals and quality benchmarks like HEDIS. Supervise team members through performance reviews, training, and the implementation of LEAN principles to ensure member experience standards and confidentiality. Collaborate with internal departments to resolve member issues, implement new programs, and build relationships with community-based organization partners. Review financial requests, recommend policy changes, and maintain comprehensive records of center activities and outcomes. This role requires a valid driver's license, 3+ years of supervision experience, and the ability to work evenings and weekends with 25% driving travel.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience
- Supervision/Lead Capacity
- Managed Care/IPA/Clinic Setting
- Community Outreach
- Experience working with State Health Programs (Medi-Cal and Healthy Families Program)
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in relevant health, social, or behavioral discipline, from an accredited institution
- Valid California Driver's license
- Valid automobile insurance
- Must qualify and maintain driving record to drive company vehicles based on IEHP insurance standards of no more than three (3) points
- Understanding of and sensitive to multi-cultural communities
- Excellent computer skills with an emphasis in Microsoft Office software
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent time management, organization, and leadership skills
- High degree of patience and emotional intelligence
- Ability to make clear presentations
- Strong judgement and decision making
- Ability to connect and build rapport with team members, members and community partners
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
- High amount of field work with 25% driving travel required
- Flexibility to work evenings and some weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Community Centers
- Bilingual (English/IEHP Threshold Language) written and verbal skills
- Knowledge of Medi-Cal/managed care environment
- Knowledge of community resources available in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties
