Job Summary
Greet customers, answer questions, and direct them to products while maintaining comprehensive knowledge of Coastal Farm merchandise. Manage daily store operations including merchandising, display presentation, signage standards, and inventory monitoring. Train new associates on systems and procedures, create worklists and goals, and lead store meetings. Open and close the store, handle phone calls, and maintain constant radio communication with all associates. Assume Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager duties as scheduled. Perform daily cleaning tasks such as vacuuming and trash replacement. Assist in floor moves and departmental needs as required. Requires one year of retail experience, intermediate Eagle Browser and POS knowledge, and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of experience working in a retail environment
- Intermediate knowledge of Eagle Browser
- Experience working in different departments of the store
- Intermediate knowledge of operating a POS system
- Proven written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing work environments and to shift priorities accordingly
- Familiar with how to operate a computer system and email
