Job Summary
Conduct daily urinalysis, serology, and coagulation testing while supervising quality control, instrumentation maintenance, and staff scheduling across hematology, chemistry, and blood bank sections. Troubleshoot instrument problems, manage supply inventory, and ensure 100% compliance with QC protocols and CAP survey documentation. Serve as the technical lead for the Clinical Laboratory, performing phlebotomy, clerical duties, and training new employees while maintaining accurate records and communicating results to physicians and nursing staff.
Required Qualifications
- College Graduate
- Medical Technology Internship
- 2 years acute hospital experience
- CA Licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientist
