Job Summary
Supervisor-Clinical Nursing role in MPCU focusing on planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care in designated areas. Acts as a clinical resource for staff and patients and may perform as a staff nurse when needed. Assumes managerial duties delegated by a manager. Requires RN licensure, BLS and relevant certifications; minimum 2 years of patient-care experience; strong leadership to support Mercy’s mission and service standards.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Nursing program
- Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TNCC/CPHON/OCN/BLS/PALS/PEARS or other unit-specific certifications as required
- 2 years' experience in patient care
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
