Job Summary
Assist in the planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of operations and patient care for designated areas. Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department, functioning as a staff nurse as needed while assuming delegated managerial duties. Maintain a current RN license and meet all state board requirements, with a requirement for 2 years of patient care experience. Perform duties consistent with Mercy's mission, values, and service standards.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- 2 years' experience in patient care
