Job Summary
Assist in planning, coordinating, and evaluating operations and patient care for designated areas while serving as a clinical resource for staff and patients. Perform duties as a staff nurse when needed and execute delegated managerial responsibilities. Maintain a current RN license and obtain required certifications such as BLS, ACLS, or unit-specific modules within the department's timeframe. Requires two years of patient care experience, with supervisor experience preferred. Position involves prolonged standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly. Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- 2 years' experience in patient care
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties

- OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization) Six Assessment & Care Modules
- C-EFM (Fetal Monitor Certification)
- Other unit-specific certifications as required
