Job Summary
Assist in planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating operations and patient care for designated areas while serving as a clinical resource for staff and patients. Perform duties as a staff nurse when needed and execute delegated managerial responsibilities consistent with Mercy Service Standards. Work full-time nights shifts at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, requiring the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk throughout the shift.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate Degree in Nursing
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Nursing Diploma
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or compact licensure
- 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs regularly
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties
